The chapel of St. Sebastian at Mandopa was built around the year 1910. Originally, it was very small and was catering to the needs of Mandopa ward as far as Sunday Mass was concerned.
As the ward started growing, it was felt that the space was not sufficient and as such around the year 1930, a verandah was added to the chapel building in order to accommodate more people during Sunday Mass.
In recent times construction work for a bigger chapel has been initiated by the villagers.
